The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen can now be streamed on Crunchyroll and Funimation worldwide. New episodes are released every Thursday at 10:00 AM Pacific/1:00 PM Eastern, which is equivalent to 6:00 PM GMT in the UK. The anime also offers an English-language dub, with new episodes released approximately two weeks after their subtitled counterparts.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 served as a prequel to the main story, but only for a brief period of time.
Jujutsu Kaisen's first season finished with the conclusion of the Death Painting Arc, which was based on chapters 55-64 of the manga. The second season has now completed adapting Gojo’s Past Arc (Hidden Inventory/Premature Death), which covers chapters 65-79 of the manga.
Gojo and Geto escorted a Star Plasma Vessel to Tengen in a past mission.
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 has progressed to the present day and is currently adapting the Shibuya Incident (chapters 79-136). Without giving away any spoilers, the Shibuya Incident Arc focuses on a plan to seal Goto, which is led by Gojo and his new cursed alliance.
Confirmation has been received that Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will consist of 23 episodes, with a runtime of two cours and recent confirmation of an additional 18 episodes.

There is a mole at Jujutsu High and Teacher Utahime is on the hunt for the traitorous sorcerer. This will be a major focus of the next season.
In the season 2 finale, Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara, along with Maki and Panda, are recommended for promotion to Grade 1 Sorcerers. They are then invited by Gojo to participate in a new mission.

In the Hidden Inventory prequel arc, Geto becomes the Star Religious Group's new leader. The Shibuya Incident arc sees Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi nominated as first-grade sorcerers. Gojo enters the veil surrounding Shibuya and fights Jogo and Hanami. Gojo eventually confronts his one-time friend Geto, who is being controlled by the sorcerer Kenjaku. Yuji, Ino, and Megumi take down the veil, but Gojo and the civilians caught in the conflict are still trapped. Sukuna awakens and fights Jogo in the most recent episode, while Megumi attempts to defeat Haruta with the shikigami Mahoraga. Sukuna saves Haruta and kills everyone in a certain radius using his Domain Expansion ability.
